Basic Function:

The Entry Level Computer Technician assists the Computer Technician by installing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and software along with troubleshooting of equipment

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • General technical duties
  • Loading software on computers and laptops.
  • Testing and inventory of equipment for internal use.
  • Intermediate level repair.
  • Other job responsibilities, tasks, and duties may be assigned as part of this position.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • A+ Industry Certification, Network + Certification or equivalent or ability to achieve within 30 days of hire desired.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Attendance.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Detailed Oriented.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independent and in a team environment.
  • Basic Computer/Electronic knowledge.
  • Basic math, required.

Other Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance and reach.
